|Crop Zonation and Agroclimatic Classifications|
The agroclimatic maps divide Malaysia into zones of different durations when natural water supplies (rainfall and soil moisture) are enough to meet crop requirements. The crop zonation maps classify the nation into zones of different level of suitability for growing 14 main Malaysia crops. The maps are of the scale 1:500,000. They are, particularly, useful for agricultural planning such as agro land management and agro climatic studies.
