Chief Information Officer (CIO) Roles and Responsibilities
  • To establish and lead the ICT security team of the Malaysian Meteorological Department;
  • To implement task related to ICT security;
  • To advise matters related to ICT security;
  • To coordinates the development and implementation of training plans and awareness programs related to ICT security;
  • To ensure all users understand and comply with the Malaysian Meteorological Department DKICT;
  • To ensure that all organizational requirements (financial resources, consumer resources and security protection) are adequate; and
  • To ensure the risk assessment and ICT security program are in accordance with the prevailing circular in the Malaysian Meteorological Department DKICT.
