myCuaca Version 3.0 is the official mobile application of the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MET Malaysia), launched on October 13, 2026. This new version features a more user-friendly design, personalization functions, and location-based weather information delivery to provide a smoother, more interactive, and informative user experience. The app provides weather information and warnings for all of Malaysia to help users plan and prepare for daily and outdoor activities.
Key Features of myCuaca Version 3.0:
Location-based weather forecast - Displays forecasts based on user's current location and allows users to view forecasts for other locations.
24-hour and 7-day weather forecast - Provides 24-hour weather forecasts and up to seven (7) days ahead for the user's selected location.
Interactive multi-layer map - Allows users to explore various meteorological data interactively through layers such as radar. RaINS, satellite, temperature, wind, lightning, tropical cyclones, and earthquakes.
Location-based warnings - Delivers weather warning notifications based on the user's current location.
Favourite locations - Enables users to save and manage favaourite locations to access weather information more easily.
This new version also aims for wider adoption, particularly among users who engage in outdoor activities such as gardening, traveling, and recreation, by offering easily accessible, interactive, and location-relevant weather information.
